About the author
Palestinian-British chef Joudie Kalla trained at London’s renowned Leiths School of Food and Wine before working in several leading London restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay’s Pengelley’s under Ian Pengelley and Papillon with Michelin-starred chef David Duverger.

Her cookbooks Palestine on a Plate and Baladi are international bestsellers, praised for preserving Palestinian cuisine and telling the stories behind it.
