Natural Earth Paint™ Methyl Cellulose is a 100% natural glue that’s vegan and plant-based. A versatile adhesive that is an ethical alternative to traditional animal-based glue.

Natural Earth Paint™ Methyl Cellulose can be used for a variety of artistic techniques and surfaces:

• Adhesive – Great for paper mache, decoupage, and for book binding. It’s ability to bond surfaces without staining or damage makes it an ideal choice for paper crafts. 
• Paint Binder – Methyl Cellulose acts as a food-grade thickener and emulsifier, ideal for adding viscosity to mineral pigments.
• Flexible sizing – Adds a protective glaze for paper and canvas, ideal for preparing surfaces for painting. 

Size: A 22g bag to make 946ml of liquid adhesive.

Shelf Life: When mixed with water, Methyl Cellulose has a shelf life of 1 year when kept in a sealed container at room temperature.
