A banker from Germany, Herman Upmann moved to Havana in 1844 because of his love for Havana cigars. He also set up a bank that closed in the early 1920’s.
Thankfully the cigar brand he created didn’t suffer the same fate and today is still loved by cigar smokers the world over.
Light and aromatic with a smooth and refined flavour profile, this chunky robusto measuring 5″ with a 48-ring gauge offers a wonderful smoking experience. Medium bodied with notes of toasted almonds, leather and pepper.
