Clip, drape, and build with the Speelbelovend Giant Play Clips, a set of four oversized wooden pegs for den making, open-ended play, and imaginative building. Use them to attach sheets, play cloths, and scarves to chairs, tables, clothes horses, Triclimbs, and Trigonos structures to create a fort, play tent, or cosy hideaway indoors or outside.

Made from solid birch wood with rubber bands, these 14cm giant pegs open wide enough to grip surfaces up to 5.5cm thick. They are especially useful with Laura’s Play Cotton cloths and Trigonos construction sets, helping children turn a simple frame into a play space in seconds. They are also great for clipping fabrics and lightweight materials to tree branches or swing bars in the garden.

These versatile clips can also be used as giant tongs for sorting games, picking up toys, and all sorts of open-ended experiments. Add an extra rubber band for a tighter grip if needed, and if the action becomes stiff over time, a little candle wax on the moving contact point helps them glide more smoothly again.
