It comes with 55 coloured wooden cylinder pegs that can be placed in the holes above the printed numbers, with every number being assigned a specific colour which strengthens kids’ memories. It can be used to do and double check simple addition and subtraction mathematics problems. it also comes with a small ‘counting stick’ that makes the numbers feel more tangible and easy to understand for children, as they can trace the individual numbered holes. All of these features will help the child internalise the numbers more intensively so that they can understand them not only as numbers, but also as defined quantities.
