Lanka Kade Hypsilophodon Wooden Dinosaur Figure | Natural Rubberwood
Looking for sustainable wooden dinosaur figures for curious young explorers? The Lanka Kade Hypsilophodon is a beautifully hand made dinosaur toy that invites children to imagine a world from millions of years ago. Ethically made in Sri Lanka from sustainably sourced rubberwood, this chunky wooden dinosaur gives rubber trees a second life once they’ve finished producing natural latex.
Painted on both sides with non-toxic colours, this bright orange and blue Hypsilophodon features smooth, natural edges that show off the lovely grain of the wood. Safe for little hands and mouths, it’s suitable from 10 months old and perfect for early learners discovering dinosaurs for the first time.
This simple, recognisable dinosaur figure encourages imaginative storytelling and small-world play while sparking curiosity about the prehistoric world, fossils, and how dinosaurs once lived. At 25mm thick, it’s super sturdy and ideal for little hands to grasp, hold, and explore as they bring their Jurassic adventures to life.
At Babipur, we’re proud to have been championing Lanka Kade’s ethical and sustainable wooden toys for nearly 20 years. Every figure is handmade under fair trade conditions in Sri Lanka, supporting over 200 families with fairly paid work and helping to fund local schools.
